Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to The Standard Squeeze. We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site, to you, the user, conditioned on your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site or buying something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), including the additional terms, conditions and policies referenced here or available by link, such as our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your State or Territory of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given consent for any minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, and you must not, in using the Service, break any laws in your jurisdiction (including copyright laws). You understand that your content (excluding payment card details) may be transferred unencrypted and may involve transmission over various networks and changes to meet the technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Payment card details are always encrypted during transfer.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order, including orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. If we change or cancel an order, we may notify you using the contact details provided at the time of the order.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases, and to keep your account information up to date so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

We are not responsible for examining or evaluating their content, and we are not liable for any third-party materials, websites, products or services. If you send us creative ideas, suggestions or other materials ("comments"), whether requested by us or not, you agree that we may use them in any medium without restriction, and that we are under no obligation to keep them confidential, to pay for them, or to respond to them.
You agree that your comments will not infringe the rights of any third party and will not contain unlawful, abusive or obscene material or any malware. You are solely responsible for the comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility for comments posted by you or any third party.

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information, or cancel orders, if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service for breaching any of these prohibited uses.
13. Australian Consumer Law and your rights
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). For major failures, you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law where doing so would be unlawful. The disclaimers and limitations of liability in Section 14 apply only to the extent permitted by law and are subject to this Section 13.
If you are purchasing from outside Australia, you may also have mandatory consumer protections under the law of your own country. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to Section 13, we do not guarantee that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and the Service and all products delivered to you are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind except as expressly stated by us or required by law.
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to Section 13, The Standard Squeeze and its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers and service providers will not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of the Service or any products purchased through it. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods or services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Standard Squeeze and our related entities, officers, directors, agents, contractors and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
17. Termination
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred before the termination date survive the termination of this agreement. These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate them at any time by ceasing to use our site. If we believe you have failed to comply with any of these Terms, we may also terminate this agreement at any time, and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination.
18. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with any policies posted by us on this site, constitute the entire agreement between you and us and govern your use of the Service. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
19. SMS and mobile messaging
If you opt in to our SMS or text-message program, you agree to receive recurring marketing and transactional messages (such as order updates and cart reminders) from or on behalf of The Standard Squeeze at the mobile number you provide. We send these messages in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to opt in to buy from us.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You may receive a confirmation message.
- Cost and frequency: message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply through your mobile carrier.
- Help: reply HELP to any message or email support@thestandardsqueeze.com.
- Providers: our SMS messages are sent through our messaging providers, Kudosity (Australia) and Omnisend. Your information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
We may change or discontinue the messaging service at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any separate agreements by which we provide you services are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts competent to hear appeals from them.

You can review the most current version of these Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
