White Russian Cocktail Recipe

White Russian cocktail

Three ingredients and nowhere to hide. Too much cream and a White Russian turns into a coffee milkshake, which is why the ratio matters more than the brand of vodka. Ninety mils, thirty, sixty.

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • Vodka - 90ml (3 Squeezes)
  • Kahlua - 30ml (1 Squeeze)
  • Cream - 60ml (2 Squeezes)

Method

  1. Build the vodka and Kahlua over ice in a glass.
  2. Float the cream on top over the back of a spoon, then stir in slowly.

Squeeze Tip

Use pouring cream. Milk is too thin to sit on top and it splits against the liqueur, and thickened cream is too heavy to stir through. Pour it over the back of a spoon so it floats, then let whoever is drinking it stir the layers together.
