Electric Smurf Cocktail Recipe
Malibu, Blue Curaçao and pineapple juice, shaken, topped with lemonade and about as blue as a drink can be. The Electric Smurf is a pub classic that takes two minutes and one shaker. Sweet, cold and not remotely serious.

Ingredients
- Malibu - 30ml (1 Squeeze)
- Blue Curaçao - 30ml (1 Squeeze)
- Pineapple juice - 30ml (1 Squeeze)
- Soda water or lemonade - to top
Method
- Put the Malibu, Blue Curaçao and pineapple juice into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake.
- Serve in cocktail glasses, top with soda water or lemonade and give it a gentle stir.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge, cherry or lime wedge.
Squeeze Tip
Lemonade makes it a party drink and soda keeps it lighter, so pick your top with the crowd in mind. Use cold pineapple juice and fill the glass with ice before you strain, or the lemonade goes flat and the colour fades. One Squeeze of each spirit keeps it balanced: it is a sweet drink already, so do not free-pour the Curaçao.
